Registration
fees for the ASSAB 2008 conference are AU$170 for regular members
and AU$150 for students. Registrations and abstracts are due
by 28 February.
Additionally,
there is an optional Harbourside Dinner and Party on Saturday
29 March, which costs AU$85 for regular members and AU$75 for students.
We
have planned a special event to honour Em.Prof. Lesley Rogers, one
of the initiators and co-founders of ASSAB - the others were Glen
McBride, Stella Crossley and Richard Mark. To celebrate her achievements
rather than her retirement, we are holding a special symposium on
27th March and will first meet for socials, drinks and food the evening
before.
If
you would like to participate, here are the details:
6 pm - 9 pm Social: drinks and food Wednesday 26 March
8.30am - 12.30pm- SYMPOSIUM: BRAIN AND BEHAVIOUR Thursday 27 March
This special event will also be available for delegates who do not
wish to register for the whole conference but for the Wednesday/Thursday
Lesley Rogers Fest only (participation AU$50).
For conference delegates, the Thursday morning symposium is included
in the Registration (tickets for the Wednesday night social are available
at the ASSAB registration desk).
All
conference delegates must be current ASSAB members. For those who
are not already members, 2008 membership dues can be paid along with
conference registration (students/retired AU$20, regular AU$40).
ASSAB
endeavors to assist students with costs associated with attending
the annual conference. For further information, download the student
assistance forms.
To
register for ASSAB 2008, and to submit a talk or poster abstract,
download the registration form and
return it as an e-mail attachment (file name = your name) to gkaplan@une.edu.au.
You should receive e-mailed notification that your forms have been
received within two days.
